Oprah & Bob Greene's Take on Diets

I was watching another past Oprah episode tonight where she had Bob Greene on the show. I've heard Oprah say in the past that you need to pick a time that you will not eat after that time. (Sort of a moot point with me since I typically run out of calories) They said that when you have that "I could have a little something more" and you don't that this is when you are eating up the fat cells.
Oprah posed a question to all people who are food addicts and people who struggle with weight loss--What kind of life do you want to have?
I want the kind of life where I don't think about the struggle with weight every day; I can do all the twisting & bent over yoga poses; I have the energy to do fun things with my husband; I have fun shopping for clothes in any store; I look at myself in pictures and I'm not ashamed or embarassed; My health is great--I feel good and look younger than my chronological age. That is my life and I claim it.

You're funny. :)(re: moot point comment.)

And I so see you experiencing all of this kind of life you are wanting and more, Marjorie. It is so doable and you are making this happen for you now!
