I've been so busy with work, school and just life in general that I haven't been documenting my calories really well the last several days. There are several days where I get breakfast entered and that's it...or breakfast and lunch..and one day where I never got anything entered. I feel confident that I'm staying in the 1500 range because I'm eating similar things most days. Life will settle down a bit very soon. I have my exam for the Master's degree this weekend and that will be a load off my mind.
In other news, despite the change in time I managed to get myself out of bed this morning at 5:30 and got to the gym. It helps that I keep my cell phone in the living room and that's the alarm I use to wake up!

Yeah, if we're eating mainly the same things every day--not tracking for a couple of days is fine--I think.
Way to go--on staying with the challenge at a time when your life is so full. And yet--as we know--this enables us to keep up with things in a more efficient way.
I remember the days of bingeing while trying to get through exams and "Man, oh man!" was it work and near impossible to stay clear and focused.
So often those of who struggle with an overeating pattern think that if we eat we will feel less stressed--but the opposite is true. When we eat according to a non-addictive food plan that nourishes us--our body, mind, and emotions are more balanced and we are better able to deal with the stresses of life.
So, thank you, Marjorie, for giving yourself such a gift at this time. Staying with the challenge around your food and exercise is putting you in the best possible place to do well with your exams! :) Woo hoo!
Love you,
Kathy
