It Is Amazing What You Can Do...

when you have to/when you try/ when you just do it!!
Last weekend my 16 year old cat was diagnosed with diabetes. It's not uncommon in fixed, aged, male cats--especially overweight ones. And that's exactly what my Chester is--old, fixed, maled and overweight.
The thought of giving my cat or any living being a shot has always freaked me out. When I thought of the prospect of giving him insulin daily I was scared I wouldn't be able to do it. But I have! And it's okay. I had to do it. There was no option. My baby needed insulin so there was no excuse.
He already seems to be getting more energetic and happier.
It's amazing what you can do, when you just do it!
